The individual trainee on a vocational training programme

• you are currently undergoing training (bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, tourism, mediation, support roles, catering, sales, etc.)

• You have an internship agreement drawn up by your educational institution.

For work placements in the construction sector:

Applicants must attend an interview, preferably on site, in order to visit the site and meet the site manager or project manager.

It is following this interview that the site manager will give their approval for the work placement application. You must have access to a car whilst on site and arrange your own accommodation.

The group of trainees

You are in charge (as a trainer, teacher, educator, etc.) of a group of trainees in the building or heritage trades and would like your trainees to take part in work on a building site. The group, including supervisors, must not exceed 12 people. The stay must last at least 4 days, and participants must be aged 16 or over and genuinely motivated to pursue a career in historic building trades.

The supervision fee is €10 per day worked and per person (trainees and supervisors).

A preliminary site visit is essential before the stay.
